Introduction

Voidhash is the open-source subscription platform for mobile apps.

Voidhash is the subscription platform for mobile apps. It connects your app to the App Store and Google Play, so you can build paywalls, validate purchases, keep subscription state in sync, and decide what each customer can access.

How it fits together

Voidhash has four parts. You will meet all of them early on, so it helps to know what each one is for.

  • Studio is the web dashboard. You use it to configure products and perks, design paywalls, and review customers and revenue.
  • The mobile SDKs run inside your app. They display paywalls, make and restore purchases, and read access state.
  • The Voidhash backend validates store transactions and keeps subscriptions and entitlements current.
  • The CLI connects a local project, generates typed slugs, and deploys code-authored paywalls.

Your app ships only a publishable key (vh_pk_...). Store credentials and secret keys stay on the server. To get started, you need two things:

  1. A Voidhash project with its publishable key
  2. An SDK installed in your app
